Ang Uno sa Lahat
This unusual photo looks as if the bird is about to attack a fisherman? Maybe it is the effect of using a zoom lens

Angono Higantes Festival 2014
Ang Uno sa Lahat
Angono HIgantes at FB

Yesterday was the Angono Higantes Festival for 2014. About 200 higantes joined the celebration. They are made by Arturo Agana who makes and maintain all of them. This is a far cry when our neighbor Temiong Tajan had 3 higantes: father mother and son.
Now Totie as Arturo is called makes the higantes from aluminum frame. A higante clothes can cost as much as P1,500 each. Specially made higante for corporate account will cost P50,000 each to build. He rents out Higantes for special occasion at P3,500 each for a half day event.
Toties higantes must have cost him millions now. He does the higante and building religious shrines.
