Taong putik
This is probably the 50th time I took time out for the fiesta, and this ritual has attracted a new breed and hordes of devotees. The fluvial parade snakes around the town for at least 2 km. See the wonderful pictures.

Bike caravan that started and finished at Angono Rizal; organized by Orville Tiamson
Ang Uno sa Lahat
Rizal Philippines November 13, 2016
En route to finish line at Wawa The main street of Angono in front of the municipal hall was blocked this morning. Reason, about hundreds or thousand riders of all types, roadies and MTB were waiting for the starting gun for a fun caravan ride that would cover Angono, Binangonan Cardona, that would cover 26 km. Entry fee is P350 (there must be a thousand participants) They wore green and white jersey (green is fluorescent) I joined the caravan on the way back from Binangonan to Angono. I overtook it though at Tagpos The pace is slow but there is a lot of jockeying to be at front of peloton from every body. PUSO MC riders led the group and there were 2 ambulances that supported the ride.
Near Island Gas at Calumpang
There must be a thousand of them

Photo study of Angono Catholic and Municipal Cemeteries this Undas

The Angono Catholic Cemetery
The Angono Catholic Cemetery = nice arch entrance and monuments
This post had the opportunity to study and make comparison between the Angono Catholic and Municipal Cemeteries. The Catholic is ahead in infrastructure planning, cleanliness, organization and is inching its way up the ladder closer to the memorial park. Their lawns which have alleys back to back is an improvement over Holy Gardens. They too have a CR.
The municipal cemetery has improved its entrance and observed the setback. It seems that the management is hell bent on improving. But it will take a lot more money and time.
Angono Catholic Cemetery
Male and female CR
Body crypts, 5 layers
Lawn lots, back to back with gutter

It appears that ABS CBN would have a special coverage of Angono Undas today. They have 3 vehicles today parked in front of Angono Municipal Cemetery Years before GMA 7 did the coverage. Thanks ABS CBN for the coverage.

Remembering Angono Greats
Ang Uno sa Lahat

Lucio D. San Pedro (daughter Cristina at the background)
This post having not much to do visited the graves of some of the Angono Greats. Notable are Carlos V Francisco (for painting and murals) and Prof Lucio D. San Pedro (for music) They placed Angono at the national level (made Angono famous) But it seems no one seem to care and remember. The folks have now embraced different heroes and icons. They are interred at the Catholic Cemetery where they occupy two separate mausoleum
I also visited the mausoleum of the 3 generations of mayors all surnamed VillaMAYOR. Domingo, Vivencio Jr. and Aurora; They are interred at family mausoleum at Angono Municipal Cemetery
She fmr Mahyor Au was mayor before the incumbent now
The three generations of Villamayor\\\
