A trap hole in the middle of a sidewalk; I fell in to one of this and may shin was totally skinned. The injured skinned shin was dipped into the dirty sewer water...
These manholes are open, are dangerous and pose serious injury in case of accidents to pedestrians MC and bike riders alike. This writer has been a victim to one of the manholes. (The road is near the Provincial Hospital) While there are alleged budget for more sidewalks, there must be funds to repair these manholes.
In a recent case last week, a rider was seriously injured right next to the provincial hospital. He was refused treatment at the said hospital owing to the seriousness of the injury.
These accidents are preventable if:
Someone, a resident was seriously injured here; it is right next to the Provincial Hospital
1. If there were quick response to put up danger signs;
2. If they were built well (calling the attention of the Engineering Department) May the contractor of these projects be conscience stricken; for a little money, he has been causing serious injuries to many; and some of them are friends and relatives
This calls for excellence in public servant. The good mayor is good at that being an MPA in a leading graduate school in the country.
This post is a CTA (Call to Action)
Note the hump which has 3 inches of sharp protusion. They removed the pipes and the concrete that made for smooth angle. This is dangerous for motorcycles and bikes. There is a manhole covered by a coconut trunk over there.

The manhole cover ready to cave in; I was a victim to his trap
There must be at least a dozen such similar manhole this stretch alone.
No one seems to be doing anything about this?
You could break a leg here!
Pedestrians beware
x This is for the terrorists!?
If you are riding a bike and you fell here....
