Salubong Celebration at Bloomingdale Park, today April 5, 2015

Ang Uno sa Lahat

                                        The angel lifted the veil of mourning from the Virgin Mary (Christendom)


The traditional salubong was held very early today at a little before 5 am. The procession started at 4:30 am, and the bells started pealing before 4 am.  I arrived at the site - Bloomingdale Homes park about 5 minutes before the actual salubong,.  The Virgin Mary image was coming from Itaas, and the Risen Christ was coming form ibaba.  All other image of the tableau, Mary Magdalene and the other ladies were all ready at the Bloomingdale Park.  All ready about thousand people had gathered at the park and tights were all ablaze, the gensets of the images were all singing adding to the din and excitement.

For the benefit of those who did not witness this, here are some of the pictures:
