Ang Uno sa Lahat
Angono Rizal Philippines May 8, 2014
Cousin only lady PP of the now #sleeping Jaycees (about to roar up soon) requested me to attend a meeting of the organizational meeting of the "new Angono Jaycees" today. This was followed by a letter sent today, early morning by Incoming President Angelo "Gelo" San Juan and acting Secretary Eugene Bautista Panganiban.
Incoming President Gelo leads the prayer
Mayor Gerry and the RVP from Cainta earlier met us for the revival of Angono Jaycees. Several benefits were offered like waiver the the past dues, free training and mass induction. As a matter of fact, there will be a mass induction at Loreland in Antipolo City on Saturday May 10, 2014
Of the 20 Past Presidents, only 6 came, one was represented by his wife: Maritess, Domingo Perez, Chito Blanco, Boy Samson, and Aaron
The meeting was scheduled to start at 1 pm at the SB session hall but things started moving at 2:00 pm.
Mayor Gerry, a PP himself attended but left shortly. Others who were there: former Councilor Guir, Councilor Januver Tiamson, ATO head Patnubay Tiamson There were 25+ baby Jaycees who were former SK in attendance.
All PPs who were there talked/inspired/oriented the #baby Jaycees. They talked about benefits of Jaycees: free training, leadership training, leadership in action, committee in action and they are all for #free.
PP Jorge Saguinsin delivers the initial orientation talk
Doming promises the support ("#magsagot)
PP Chito Blanco; he was the youngest chapter President then
PP Tess Fuentes as she addresses and thanks PPs who came
PP Boy Samson, the #recruiter #par excellance
PP Aaron explains why the chapter rested after him
PP Jorge reminds the #baby Jaycees that there could failures as teachers
The attendance sheet
Most notable of the speeches is that of Domingo Perez who talked about Jaycees uncanning ability to get money fromsome other people's pocket to support the project. You do not need to spend a single centavo from your own pocket. PP followed this up when he said that some govt officials in Napolist were former Jaycees.
PP Maritess Fuentes talked about the networking that she was able to develop from being Jaycee both local and international
Maricor who represented her husband said she met her husband because of the Jaycees (both of them are now Rotarians
This quarter reminded after closing that being a Jaycee is not all about success but also learning from your failure. Everything counts including failed commitee projects
