The members of the Sangguaniang Bayan lead the parade honoring the 75 years of Angono independence. Vice Mayor Rubin and leading councilor Joanne Saguinsin in the middle.
Despite the heavy rains, the parade commemorating and honoring the diamond celebration of Angono independence was held this morning. It passed at Barangay Kalayaan (probably started at Angono Elementary School) and turned left to M Diaz (where I live) on the way to town proper. It must be a kilometer long and lasted for about 30 minutes and featured the various bands, various street dancing and participated by various schools, their teaching staff, their school children in various dance costumes. They will probably have a presentation at the gym when the parade ends.
They must have spent a lot for the costumes and spent endless hours preparing for this parade.
Than you guys for honoring our independence. Thanks for making this parade possible.
