                                     The route of the Pilipinas run, Angono, leg.

Two events were held today:  the Pilipinas  Run - Angono leg and the Angono Go Negosyo forum as part of the series of events to celebrate the 75th year of Angono independence on Monday August 19, 2013.   The late Pres. Quezon made Angono a separate municipality from Binangonan, on his birthday, which is  August 19.

The fun run the longest of which is 20 km and went to as far as Botong Francisco highway featured mostly runners from other municipalities (other are runners seeking fame and fortune as runners)

The Angono Go Negosyo featured the talk of Prof Jorge (Saguinsin) who teaches at the Ateneo Graduate School of business.  He discussed the role of the govt and the role of entrepreneurs on nation building and the story of entrepreneurship in Angono.
