Zero squatter program for Angono?

Angono - ang UNO

Angono Rizal    |  August 25, 2013

I remember the mayor saying in the Aug 19, 2013 75th independence of Angono celebration,  that there will be a zero squatter program in Angono soon.  The visitors to this town have severely strained the municipality's resources what with constant flood, relocation and aid to them, not to mention abusing the hospitality of this municipality.

I hope that this will be carried out well because this is causing a lot of overcrowding,  if not hostility at times.  Angono's population was at 30,000 in the 1970s (I remember this well when we put Maunlad Savings)

The good mayor mentioned that the population is now around 150,000.  That would have qualified us a city on account of population and revenue for the LGU of about P200 million.  But that huge earning may be squandered on servicing these visitors.
