My prepared acceptance and thank you speech for the awards night of 75th independence of Angono

Angono - ang UNO    | August 19, 2013

I had a prepared speech for the acceptance of awards at the Outstanding Sons and Daughter awards night of the 75th (Diamond) celebration of Angono independence as per proclamation No. 158 signed by then President Quezon in l938.

"Our Master of Ceremonies Mr Mariano, Ms. Lorelei Flojo, Mayor Gerry Calderon, Vice Mayor Antonio "Sonny" Rubin,  Councilor Elmer Deloritos, chairman for Tourism,  Mr. Patnubay Tiamson - Angono Tourism Office Head,  our councilors,  Sec. Juancho Lalic, fellow awardees, friends and townmates from Angono.

Good evening;  I was about to say thanks God the rain has stopped.  But it is raining again.  Our good mayor is worried so much about this heavy rains.

In behalf of the awardees, I am thanking the people who made the award possible.  The award belongs to the following:

l.  To our fellow townmates, the people about Angono who faithfully do their best to make the best out of their daily lives in Angono, to make life better here and be better in the future;

2. Our staff and employees who execute our plans, mission and vision;

3. Our families who suffer as we try to pursue our task and dreams.

The award reminds us to always use our giftedness for the good others and our town.  The 75 years remind us of the great accomplishments of the persons who led and lived in our town before.

Again I thank the people who made sure that this is a happy and memorable occasion:  the Boy Scouts, the ushers, the dancers, the Angono Youth Band, the organizers the ATO, and everybody else who made this thing happen.

Mabuhay ang 75 years ng Angono, Mabuhay ang mga awardees!
